How can we improve the Windows Phone dev platform?

Add Header property to TextBox control

Even the "TextBox Control Design Guidelines for Windows Phone" (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh202916%28v=vs.92%29.aspx) says that a TextBox must have a Header such property isn't supported by the TextBox control. Even the "Windows Phone 7 Toolkit for Silverlight" contains some improved controls using Header property the TextBox control was forgotten? Sorry for the delay. Didn't get any information that there is a new comment here but I am happy to see that there are already 25 votes on this issue.

        Totally agree with you.

My own implementation has still a big issue: DataBinding won't work and when developing using the MVVM pattern it isn't a good control yet.

Hope, I'll have some time to do further investigation on it in the near future.

@Harald-René Flasch, can you share your code?
PS: it's very strange TextBox doesn't contain one. Shame MS!
