  Still missing WP7.8/WP8 version of the update history: www.windowsphone.com/en-us/how-to/wp7/basics/update-history! Even the topic is "Windows Phone Update History" there the URL itself tells me that it is "only" about Windows Phone 7 (and 7.5(!) ....). I expect a bit more accuracy from MS here.

  Someone plz tell us why Microsoft is silent about WP 8 upgrade or even WP 7.8 for WP 7.5..!!

  should be called Windows Phone 8 Starter, since he doesn't have the hardware capabilities and not Windows Phone 7.8

  If they are busuness smart they will always offer free updates to customers that own their products. They might think that it's easier and better for them to have customers dish out $$$ every year or two, But a quality product in the first place would work with the proper updates. In the long run, they will make more money...
