ShareLinkTask and ShareStatusTask should report error or information if the user doesn't have a social network. Launchers should have a callback that returns a string error message. If the launcher isn't possible, a property would be useful for disabling/enabling buttons that start the launchers.

I would like to be able to manage my phone's start screen and applications from the Zune desktop software.

Applications should be backed up so that I don't lose data. Previously purchased applications should be available from within Zune so that I can restore deleted applications from their last backed up state.

After the update to Mango my private notes have been synchronized with SkyDrive. This violates my privacy and furthermore it can not be disabled. As a consequence I can not use the Office suite until this has been fixed. The Office tools need to have an option to deactivate the SkyDrive sync.

The biggest problem I almost exclusively run into when working on WP7 apps is the layout performance of Silverlight. It's takes quite some effort to work around that problem. And according to web searches about this problem I felt that I'm not a lone with this. It'd be great if you would work on a solution to improve the situation.

There are some apps which simple are needed but not needed for quick access. Like Adobe PDF Reader or Phone Settings or development test apps. My idea was to add any group like already available for contacts to sort and categorize apps. In that case every user can choose which apps are important to have direct access by tile or which are in a minor priority or which have very less priority to have direct access to it.

To be able to make a movie (and share it with the rest of the World via youtube) we need an ability to generate MPEG4/WMV stream/file by utilizing hardware codecs (through FileSink). Also some way to change (enhance) audio/video captured from mic/camera before it will be encoded and saved into file.

It's very hard and absolutely inconvenient to work with text as it implemented. Very difficult to position cursor and select text. We understand that it was made in rush. But comparing with other platforms (even windows mobile 6.5) it's unacceptable.

The consumer doesn’t know why, and they cannot offer any negative feedback about Windows Phone, but the reputation for the Windows Phone is poor or in many cases non-existent. To fix reputation the marketing must be informative and plentiful (especially via TV commercials). Media companies support clients that advertise in abundance.

In addition to the existing database support, please add support for SQLite databases, without a LINQ layer like for SQLCE. Just a raw database with SQL commands like we are used to. SQLite is platform independent, that means it is easy to exchange data between Windows, Windows Phone, Android and iOS devices.

We need different sound levels...sound level for system, for alarm clock, for music-radio, and different for keyboard.

I want to have sounds enabled to keyboard but not at highest level, also i want to listen to radio (throuth the night) and be sure that the next morning the alarm clock will sound as high as possible to wake me up.
