Would be nice to have a callback on for example the phonecalltask so that we can determine wether or not the user actually did press "call" or "cancel". Same for other tasks and launchers.

When user is with in an app and there is an active call in progress the App should receive notification when call ends. Currently there is no support for this and really hard to understand when the call ends. This for example can be used to show meeting minutes screen as soon as a call finishes. I see more uses than simple example I have mentioned below.

Support for multiple calendars, e.g. Multiple Google Calendars from one Google account, would be very useful.

I think you should allow Windows 7 computer owners the ability to develop Windows 8 phone apps. They have a device to develop on, I believe the only thing you can't do is use the emulator. I have everything up and running, except VS express 2012 won't recognize my windows 8 phone and deploy to it, so I can test my app. Can I manually place the .xap file using file explorer, or is there some way to fix this? It gives me this error 'Microsoft.SmartDevice.Connectivity.PlatformNotFoundException'

If you activate a pin for the phone Kids Corner automatically gets a pin too. This means that you as a parent have to unlock the phone for your child. (Or give them the pin which kind of defeats the purpose.)

Feature suggestion: I would like to be able to set "no pin" in the settings for Kids Corner. Additional feature option would be to specify a different pin for Kids Corner (1234) :)

It makes no sense to have a pin for Kids Corner if you have, say, only configured a few games in that area for your child!

As app developers we are currently stuck with 2 methods of generating revenues 1) one time app payment 2) Ads.

I would like to see a monthly/yearly subscription model introduced that let me charge users $5 a year for my app for example.

This would mean we could make ad free apps that developers are motivated to keep adding features to over time since they are generating ongoing revenues.

The SmsComposeTask does not provide any events.

I think we need Completed event and something like SmsResult that can be used. Currently some Tasks exhibit this behaviour and some do not.

I like the functinality of the SplashScreenImage.jpg file, but it's too limited for what I'm trying to do. At a minimum I need to have 2 images that are auto selected based on the phone's current theme. SplashScreenImageLight and SplashScreenImageDark would be great!

After that, it would be great to have the option to select an image from IsolatedStorage so that my app can update its splash screen image as needed.

Allow the user the option of choosing a non qwerty keyboard layout, as a full keyboard can be really frustating at times due to the small keys.

I don't believe that there is not ADO.NET! No SQL queries to run. Must redo all applications from Windows Mobile/MonoTouch/MonoDroid/WPF for WP7. I have the same core code running on the above platforms but to do it on WP7.1 I will have to rewrite! Unacceptable.

having come from iPhone and loving my WP7.5 device, i miss the threading of calls. example you call Mr. Smith 6 times and he calls you twice, have them collapsed into a list that you can expand, this reduces the size of the list and lets your be more organized. searching by missed, Called, and all would be great at well.
