Provide ability to edit app descriptions and imagery
Quite often devs need to modify app descriptions (or images) after an app is published. This may be for simple editing of typo's/mistakes - or to better clarify facts/features or 'gotchas' of an app to end users (which may have been raised after its been released).
Right now this can only be done by putting a new version in for certification (which involves a lot of additional work for both developers and for certification staff).
Anyhow - some simple way for developers to edit descriptions - or put in 'additional notes' would be a really useful feature.
Thank you for the suggestion; this capability has been added to the Windows Phone Store over the past few months. While some edits still trigger a recert, it is by design.
We added the ability to edit app descriptions earlier in the WP8 release, and we recently added the ability to modify imagery (per the recent blog post http://blogs.windows.com/windows_phone/b/wpdev/archive/2013/04/05/more-dev-center-features-we-re-listening.aspx ).

iTunes Connect lets one change app metadata anytime without a recertification. Just sayin'.

I'm stuck in exactly this situation. My app was just certified, then I added an additional screenshot to the listing... now I'm back at square 1 it appears. Very frustrating. I suggest a XAP-to-XAP CRC comparison to trigger the "full app cert" process, otherwise just update the marketplace listing either automatically, or with minimal staff interaction.
