Allow me to delete/cancel an app submission
Occasionally, I'll submit an app and almost immediately discover an error. Unfortunately, I have to wait 3-4 days for the tester to find the same error. I'd like to be able to cancel my submission and resubmit a more stable version of the app (even if this resets the validation process).
We need to have a way to cancel the existing in progress submission to update rather than waiting for it to complete. This is must have for developers who find issues they want to fix but already have a submission in progress.
Sometimes we submit an application and then spot a bug, or need to make a further change. At present we have to wait for the app to go through the cert process, wasting a lot of valuable time and effort (mostly at Microsoft's expense!).
It would be a lot better if we could remove our submissions from the queue. Fair enough if testing has already begun then it needs to continue, but if its only just been submitted then we should have the chance to remove it.
Other marketplace submission processes allow this.
If you upload the wrong .XAP --say, a debug build-- you're utterly unable to cancel the process in any way. Who thought that up?
Thank you for the suggestion; this capability has been added to the Windows Phone Store in the April release – for more information, please see the following blog post:
OK. They did it.
It's absurd that neither devs nor even MS support can cancel a submission. It's your own system, for crying out loud! Has anyone ever presented a remotely valid reason why cancellation should not be allowed?

+1 I just submitted an app and forgot to tell the reviewer how to sign in. Now I have to wait three days to get a PDF saying I couldn't log in. Come on!
And you can even submit an app without actually updating the XAP file! and there is no way to cancel it :)

Didn't catch it. Cancellation already possible in Dev Center...

I'm sure it'll happen! http://weknowmemes.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/op-will-surely-deliver-lets-just-wait.jpg
One of the major things that Microsoft has to fix on the Dev Centre.
This have to be fixed

Yes - I've like to save the reviewers some time and effort by removing an app from the queue right now too.

Please add this or any other way to delete an application in the certification pipeline even it’s only allowing us to add a comment for the tester to fail application for the reason of developer requested (or non-specific fail)
I have 2 apps in the certification queue (I should have been more patient and done better testing before submission) it’s now 15 days since submission and I can’t remove them, (which might reduce the backlog for everyone a little)
This needs to be fixed, it is a problem
but now , i deleted my old/bad submission in a easy way.
re-upload one bad xap to replace the old one, then "Save and Quit"
re-enter the liftcycle, you can find the "Delete Submission" here.
yes it should be there. yesterday by mistake i modified something in description and it went for certification.
please fix this ASAP

Add the option to completely remove an app in App Hub! I have a long list with unsubmitted or beta apps which I can't delete...

Realy! This is very frustrating.
