Enable API to determine Bluetooth status including whether it is enabled/disabled, whether it is connected and to which devices.
This entry contains two API requests. While there are no advancements regarding the Airplane Mode API, Bluetooth stack was enhanced as part or Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 10 release.
I believe that you scenario can be implemented now using APIs available in Windows.Devices.Bluetooth namespace (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/windows.devices.bluetooth.aspx) – Using ConnectionStatus property of BluetoothDevice you can detect device status (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/windows.devices.bluetooth.bluetoothdevice.connectionstatus.aspx).
Please feel free to create separate UserVoice requests for the APIs that are still missed and required for your scenarios.

I neglected to mention Airplane Mode API as well ... same thing, need to be able to determine current Airplane Mode state.
