How can we improve the Windows dev platform?

TreeView event for child re-ordering

The UWP TreeView control lacks an event to notify that child nodes have been re-ordered due to a drag and drop. The DragItemsCompleted event is fired but there is no direct information in the arguments about whether the child ordering has changed or whether a child has been added.

@prmalini, I was referring to an internal drag/drop.

A similar problem is that the target node (the node that the dragged items were dropped into) is not available in TreeViewDragItemsCompletedEventArgs as I believe it should be.

@yuliaklein This is the site that I am taken to from the control documentation page. In other words MS seems to be saying post here instead of there.

Can you please share more information on the ask: Do you want to know whether the Drag/Drop operation that was completed was a 'Reorder' versus a child added from outside of the current TreeView?
