PLease restore this service and bring back Advanced Tag Editor too while you're at it.

Please restore this service. Why would you want to create another reason anyone would want to leave your Microsoft Services for that many other competion companies that are being created?
Please restore fai.music.metaservices.microsoft.com ! I'm using Windows Media Player with Windows 7 and I was surprised and finally very disapointed that the service is down, because I used it for years for ripping my CD's.

Restore fai ...
I hope that Microsoft is clever in order to listen the user who are not satisfied by this horrible decision
We just want fai.music.metaservices.microsoft.com, not other things
Is that clear for the company ?
Without offering a way to point the Media Player to a different source for CD info, you have essentially taken away a function users purchased without giving back compensation. It is no different than a car company coming and removing the radio from all their cars and saying, "Find an alternative." The fai site? No, you don't have to continue it. Simply provide a function that allows WMP to look somewhere else. Otherwise? Put the fai... back up until you do.
Reinstate this service. Stop Punishing people for not wanting to use the latest OS.
Please re-instate this service. It is so difficult to find alternatives that I trust not to be Malware.
Reinstate it. I can update and clean this database for free.
please restore metaservices for media player!!! The xbox site is absolutely useless!
please restore metaservices for media player
Microsoft, stop frustrating users with things like this. I still run a machine with WMP 9 because it has an Advanced Tag Editor which WMP 12 doesn't. Stop doing these things to people. Restore fai.

Please return the service "fai.music.metaservices.microsoft.com", seemingly all functionality has been discontinued or limited, both in search and when adding information or art to the album.
We all love Microsoft, and many of us are also audio aficionados who use this services as an Audio Juke Box. For this function it is awesome and there are no others that come close. .
Please restore fai.music.metaservices.microsoft.com, as we all knew it.
Thank you, Carl Schneider
yes please !!!!

You must return that essential service "fai.music.metaservices.microsoft.com", because the new server has serious failures, both in search and disorder when adding information to the album.
We are very loyal to you, Microsoft, that is why this product is important for many to be fixed as soon as possible.
Please come back fai.music.metaservices.microsoft.com, as we all knew it.
The purpose of that would be to make the "Find Album Info" function in Windows Media Player 12 functional again. Since the database site for WMP 12 was changed about 8 months ago, from fai.music.metaservices.microsoft.com to the current musicmatch-ssl.xboxlive.com, the Find Album Info function doesn't work. Rather, you always get a notification of "No Match Found". This function is very helpful when playing music CDs that WMP is unable to identify. And, clearly you folks at Microsoft have previously recognized its value, since it's been included in WMP for many years, going back to older versions. Please restore it!!! Thank You.
