Microsoft Edge Developer
Hi, are you a web developer or designer?
“No, I just want to share feedback on Microsoft Edge.”
Please use the Feedback Hub (requires Windows 10) to submit your feedback in the Microsoft Edge category. This site is for web developer and designer feedback only. Other feedback will be closed without action.
“Yes, I’m a web developer or designer with feedback for the Microsoft Edge platform.”
Great! This site is where the Microsoft Edge team collects feature requests from the web developer and designer community in the categories listed to the right. For bugs on existing features, please log an issue on the Issue Tracker.
Your feedback will help us with planning and to better understand how web developers and designers are using the platform. Top standards-based feature requests will also be copied over to status.microsoftedge.com, where you can track its development status.
For the most actionable feedback, please search and up vote for existing suggestions before submitting a new suggestion, and create a separate suggestion per idea. Note that off topic or inappropriate suggestions may be moderated. The Microsoft Edge team will use suggestions as an important input, but there are several additional factors that inform the final roadmap.
A note from our lawyers: Please do not send any novel or patentable ideas, copyrighted materials, samples or demos which you do not want to grant a license to Microsoft. See the Terms of Service for more information.

Add Support for S/MIME in Microsoft Edge
Idea: Add support for S/MIME in Microsoft Edge browser. Since Microsoft Edge is the successor to IE in some regards I'm confused as to why they didn't add support for S/MIME. I, like many other government or business employees rely on this for viewing/sending encrypted mail.
I do love the edge browser because it works so much better Outlook Web Access but not having the ability to install S/MIME really takes away from the experience.
Has there been any discussion thus far as to why this hasn't been implemented?

UX
I'd like to volunteer to be a part of the Edge user experience, product engineering, design team. I am passionate about continuous improvement and feel that I could be of great use to the MS team. While I don't have formal training in UX, it appears that hasn't been a requirement thus far. I believe in MS and it's potential in creating a robust browser and sure if applications that will rival Google; I'm just not sure what's taking so long. I have uninstalled or disabled all Google products from my laptop and mobile phone but only made it 2…

Edge pdf reader needs to remember where I left. When I start reading next time, edge should open the pdf where I left.
Remembering where I left is like a bookmark we leave in the last read page.

Update http://aka.ms/*.*.vagrant links
Links like: http://aka.ms/ie11.win7.vagrant and http://aka.ms/msedge.win10.vagrant are outdated. They redirect to 2015 builds, and some (the win10 one) don't work at all.
There needs to be some automated updating on the msft end of those links to help w/ developing automation scripts.
In the mean time, the only solution is to do some scraping of https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools/vms/

Favorites Menu - website list
The favorites menu is now 6 inches wide even though the longest entry is only 1-2 inches wide. The menu now takes up 6 inches of the screen. please allow the user to make is narrower so we can see the screen. It just looks odd, most of the area is blank.

Enable inline installation from the Store
Inline (one-click) installation is a Good Thing for many use cases for web extensions: it improves the user experience. Two other browser developers have worked out how to handle this in a secure way.
A call to a builtin js function browser.webstore.install() that must be in the context of a user-generated gesture would be ideal.

Website shortcuts on PC desktop using Edge?
With Edge have you dropped the great IE feature of being able to drag and drop a shortcut for a website to our PC desktops for future quick and easy access? I and everyone I know are so used to saving our most visited websites to our desktops as shortcuts and are most annoyed to find that we can't do this with your new Edge browser - please include this feature in Edge otherwise we will have no alternative other than to revert to using IE11 (some of us have already done this).

Offline mode is not available in MS Edge.
Some developers may need offline mode from testing perspective similar to Chrome's "Inspector->Network Tab->Offline".

FLASH/Flex workloads run slower on Edge than competing browsers
FLASH/Flex workloads run noticeably slower on the Edge browser than they do on competing browsers. Edge browser performance should be improved to handle FLASH/Flex workloads at speeds comparable to other browsers.

Add Support for 360 degree videos
Add support for 360 degree videos, as It says your browser is not supported. And its irritating to open another browser just to watch that video. Edge will be great again after adding this feature.
