Support for SVG icons in <link rel="icon" sizes="any">
I'm a dev currently working on a project that runs on 25 urls. Every site has icons in 20 different formats. Which means I currently have 500 icons in a single folder. Please support SVG so I can end this madness, I'll buy you a beer!

EdgeHTML issue tracker, issue #18357657: Support SVG favicons
On my SurfaceBook 2 almost no favicon even looks ok in Edge because my screen is so nice, but the favicons are fuzzy. Please add support for SVG favicons! If I want them to look sharp, I have to ***** open Chrome. That's kinda embarrassing.

This is now supported in both Opera and Firefox!

SVG is the future and the right now also the reality... I don't want to redraw every piece of graphics if somebody invent some new resolution as 4k :D

mnsth, SVG is the future, the present and the past but Microsoft is the present and the past, NOT the future.
Please let this happen. SVG graphics are the future.
