I think Edge can be greatly improved by using Firefox instead. At least it would be faster that way.

Implentation is better than Blink's ones but I found that opacity effect is not applied below the target elements while in Blink does. However, tested with Hue-rotate and applies it.

Did I say Microsoft is way different than it was 4 years ago!!
yes I said that many times and it does prove that everyday.

It would be great to see this so a texture or image could be applied to the body or a parent container and the content of a sub container could be made more legible against the overall document or parent container background without destroying the integrity of the sub-container.

This is HUGELY important to implementing elegant designs featuring some transparency but high text contrast and readability due to the ability to reduce distracting background details.

This would help everyone embrace the Acrylic material for Fluent Design

This needs to be done for project neon to at least partially work with HTML/CSS/JS apps. I doubt native see through acrylic will be available for html apps, but backdrops would at least give us ability to do in-app blur

This is a must have! Specially when Microsoft Project Neon is supposed to use this. Also take a look and Groove Music app. It looks stunning with Backdrop filters.
