DrvFS support for "Shared Folders" in Virtual Machines

DrvFS is unable to access the "shared folders" of a host machine when running inside a VM like VMware.

We often use VMs for testing and shared folders are a great way to move data between the host and different VMs.

For details see https://github.com/Microsoft/BashOnWindows/issues/1959 and https://github.com/Microsoft/BashOnWindows/issues/1954

The lack of this is keeping me using multiple shells (cygwin, mingw) as well as wsl. Please make this work.

Please fix this issue. I had extremely high hopes to use wsl for automated cross-platform testing of my c# applications across osx, linux and windows.

But the files need to be accessible from wsl for that!

    Please make it work.

This feature would make a big difference to my work. I would like to move completely to Bash/WSL. Right now I switch around from Bash/WSL to cygwin to mingw. Much prefer Bash/WSL but without this feature it is not fully functional for me.
