  1. UWP style window

Make WPF's Window work like a UWP window. In tablet mode it can auto-hide etc.

    • Implement CharacterSpacing (exists in Silverlight) in WPF for a TextBlock (and maybe other text controls)

In WPF there is currently no way to use character spacing (kerning) in a TextBlock or other text controls (while in Silverlight you have this). Typography is a major part of UI / UX and not being able to set character spacing is something really baffling (even more so when Silverlight has it).

            • Improve popup positioning in for desktop applications in tablet environment

WPF popup positioning appears to be interfered with by the tablet PC Handedness settings.

If set to Left-handed applications work as normal.

However, if set to right handed then all wpf popups are offset.
Menus operate correctly in that they pop out to the left, intended for right handed operation) but normal WPF popups are offset also, presumably to leave room for a hand.

This my be by design but many users have deskops/laptops with touch screens and this setting conflicts with default layout based positioning.

We are not the only people who have this issue as it has been…

              • Resize Window so Touch Keyboard doesn't hide half of the Window

The Touch Keyboard when shown overlaps a WPF window in Windows 10. This also happens when in Touch Mode. The bottom half of the window cannot be seen.

Make the Window Resize when either maximised or in Tablet Mode so that users can see what they are typing in
